As we continue to expand our operations, we are looking for an experienced Operations & Compliance Specialist to establish and manage our employment operations in Uzbekistan . About the Role In this role, you will take ownership of day-to-day employment operations and local compliance processes in Uzbekistan. You will work closely with internal teams, employees, international clients, accountants, legal advisors, banks, and government authorities to ensure smooth and compliant employment operations. This is an ideal opportunity for someone with strong knowledge of Uzbek labor legislation, payroll processes, and HR/employment administration who enjoys building operational processes in a fast-paced, international environment. Key Responsibilities Manage the full employee lifecycle, including onboarding, employment contracts, payroll inputs, leave, benefits administration, and offboarding. Ensure employment operations comply with Uzbek labor, payroll, tax, and employment regulations . Coordinate operational matters with accountants, legal advisors, banks, and relevant government authorities. Review payroll calculations and ensure employee-related payments and records are accurate. Prepare monthly employee cost and operational reports. Support international clients and employees with employment, payroll, and operational matters. Maintain accurate employment documentation and compliance records. Develop and improve standardized EOR processes, templates, workflows, and compliance controls for Uzbekistan. Identify potential operational or compliance risks and support their timely resolution. Collaborate with global teams to ensure local operations align with company standards. Requirements 5+ years of professional experience in HR Operations, Payroll, Employment Administration, EOR/PEO services, or a similar field. Strong practical knowledge of Uzbek labor law and local employment regulations . Hands-on experience with payroll processes in Uzbekistan . Experience working with local employment, tax, payroll, and/or government systems. Fluency in Uzbek and Russian . Working proficiency in English or Turkish . Strong organizational skills and excellent attention to detail. Ability to independently manage multiple operational processes and priorities.
