About the Role We are looking for an experienced Domain Expert Business Analyst for a large-scale transformation program in the banking sector. The assignment runs for approximately one year and follows a hybrid working model, with attendance at the Sisli (Istanbul, European side) office on certain days. We primarily consider candidates with 15+ years of business analysis experience. Candidates with 10-15 years of experience and strong expertise in one of the banking domains below may also be considered. Important: Because the project start date is critical, only candidates with a notice period of at most 1-2 weeks can be evaluated. Responsibilities Analyze business unit needs and carry out functional analysis and documentation work. Translate business requirements accurately and completely for technical teams. Take an active role in analysis, testing and UAT processes in core banking projects. Coordinate internal and external stakeholders throughout the project and contribute to problem resolution. Work with Agile teams and run analysis activities in line with SDLC processes. Prepare and maintain project documentation. Requirements Degree in Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Management Information Systems, Mathematical Engineering or a similar analytical field. Minimum 15 years of experience in business analysis. Minimum 10 years of experience in at least one of the following banking domains: digital banking, asset/liability banking (loans / deposits), cash management, treasury, foreign trade. At least 10 years in analysis, testing and UAT processes within core banking projects. Advanced experience in business requirement analysis, functional analysis and documentation. Strong command of Agile/Scrum methodologies and SDLC processes. Experience in internal and external stakeholder management. Effective use of SQL, Jira, Confluence, Visio, Draw.io and Postman. Able to attend the Istanbul European side office on set days under a hybrid model. Knowledge of banking regulations and compliance processes.
